SU President inspects the faculties of Technology and Education, and Computer and Science

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hnijal, the SU President, inspected some faculties of the university. He began with a visit to the Faculty of Technology and Education. He was met by Prof. Dr. Hossam Eldin Moustafa Attia, the Dean of the faculty, Undersecretaries, and Teaching Staff. The SU President followed up on the procedures of the faculty regarding the discipline of the educational process from the schedules of lectures, laboratories, and workshops. He stressed the need for continuous follow-up of the various components of the educational process. The SU President also discussed with the dean of the faculty the procedures for the admission of new students and the criteria for divvying up departments.

Hnjil then held a meeting in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Undersecretaries, and teaching staff to follow up on the latest quality accreditation file for the faculty’s academic programs. The Dean of the Faculty reviewed some problems that may be faced in the processing of the file. The dean of the faculty promised to overcome these difficulties in preparation for the submission of the accreditation file soon.

Furthermore, the SU President went to the Faculty of Computer Science and Information. He was met by Prof. Dr. Yasser Amon, the Dean of the faculty, Undersecretaries, and Teaching Staff. He reassured His Excellency of the regularity of the academic course and then met with a group of new and old students in the meeting room where he welcomed them, wishing success all.

Moreover, During his meeting with the faculty students, Hnjil addressed several topics, including the assurance that the future of the labor market in Egypt and the world provides many opportunities for graduates of computer faculties stressing that the future of faculty graduates will be a distinct future given the global trend towards digitization, Creating new jobs based on the concept of digital transformation and artificial intelligence and the erosion of a number of traditional functions that depend on the human factor.

The "President" also noted that the faculty is constantly working to develop academic programs in keeping with the rapid development of computer and informatics; To be able to qualify her students to the extent that it contributes to the realization of the Egyptian State's Vision 2030.

The "President" also stressed the need for caution regarding the handling of any information from social media, since there are some evil people who take from communication platforms as a way to spread rumors, falsify thoughts, and confuse perceptions, especially among the youth. Everyone should ascertain the source of the information and not fit behind demolition advocates.
