SU president witnesses the signing of a cooperation protocol between SU Faculty of Engineering and El Nasr for Fertilizers & Chemicals.

This morning, Prof. Dr. Al-Sharkawi, SU president, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the SU Faculty of Engineering and El Nasr for Fertilizers & Chemicals. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Henijal, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, represented Suez University and Engineer Hamdy Jaber Abdulhamed, the company Executive Managing Director, represented El Nasr for Fertilizers & Chemicals. This Protocol includes cooperation in all scientific, technical, and skills frameworks organized by the two Parties.

Moreover, Al-Sharkawi stated that the protocol provides for the expansion of the base of cooperation, the enrichment of scientific research, the support of joint practical and academic cooperation in engineering and environmental consulting journals and training, especially in engineering journals in its various disciplines, training courses that qualify engineers, technicians and craftsmen for the labor market, conducting technical studies, assessing environmental archaeology, visiting specialized laboratories located in the parties to identify the latest devices and equipment and work on their modernization and development. As well as the SU president’s suggestions on thinking about opening new programs at the Faculty of Engineering serving fertilizer and petrochemical companies in the region.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Hanigel, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, pointed out the importance of the Protocol in raising the efficiency of the Company in all fields (construction, electricity grid and switch plates, production) and thus increasing production and exports that bring hard currency to Egypt in addition to preparing for the work of agreements to supervise construction, road works and installations in the company.

Then, came the role of student training for students of the Faculty of Engineering at the company, which contributes greatly to the preparation of a distinguished engineer qualified to practice the profession and training in the operation of production, development, and operation lines.
