Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, SU president, this morning, a symposium entitled "Climate change and its impact on the environment and public health" was held at Seminar Hall in Medical Faculty. In addition, this seminar was under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Said Hamid Abadi, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Nermin Nasser, the undersecretary for community service and environment development affairs. The lecturer of the seminar was Dr. Yousra Said, the lecturer of industrial medicine at the faculty which was Attended by students and staff. 

This symposium is an activation of the need to keep abreast of events on the scene, as Egypt hosts the International Climate Conference in November this year.
