It is my honour and privilege to welcome you at the Faculty of Fish Resources as one of the SU faculties which is characterized by scarcity in specialization and as a beacon for Higher Education and Scientific Research because it keens on spreading the culture of scientific research “Innovation and Creativity”. The faculty represents a distinguished scientific edifice that contributes effectively to achieve the vision, mission, and objectives of the university.
Thus, the aim of the faculty is to cope with the scientific developments and modern techniques in the field of fisheries and marine studies. It also employs all its capabilities to devise constructive solutions for the society problems and preservation of the marine environment. Hence, the faculty is looking forward to opening practical areas to keep pace with the labour market inside and outside our beloved Egypt. In addition, the faculty seeks to providing its graduates with the suitable educational atmosphere that leads to achieve the highest scientific and practical levels. Moreover, the faculty presents a various set of educational programs in aquaculture technology, fisheries technology, marine fishing engineering, marine fishing navigation, and maritime safety control.
