هيثم جمال أبوالعلا: عضو هيئة تدريس بكلية الثروة السمكية - جامعة السويس. حصل على بكالوريوس في العلوم الطبية البيطرية، دكتوراه ودرجة الماجستير في علم الوراثة والهندسة الوراثية من كلية الطب البيطري - جامعة كفر الشيخ. عمل كطبيب بيطري وأخصائي علم الوراثة والهندسة الوراثية في معهد بحوث الصحة الحيوانية (2015–2020). يقوم الدكتور هيثم أبوالعلا، الذي يتمتع بخبرة أكثر من 10 سنوات في علم الوراثة الجزيئية، بتقديم أبحاث ونتائج مفيدة وأفكارًا تستحق النشر ووجهات نظر مستقبلية. لديه العديد من المنشورات، والتي تشمل المقالات الأصلية، والمراجعات، ووجهات النظر في المجلات المحكمة المعترف بها دوليًا. يشمل عمل د. هيثم على العمل في كتب دولية. تم ادراج د. هيثم في قائمة العلماء الأكثر تأثيرا طبقا لتقرير جامعة ستانفورد. ترتكز أبحاث د. هيثم على علم الوراثة الجزيئية والبيوتكنولجي، وخاصة بيولوجيا الحمض النووي الريبي غير المشفر. أعمال د. هيثم العلمية تقوم بتطبيق علوم الوراثة الجزيئية والبيوتكنولوجي لتحسين إنتاجية ومقاومة الامراض للكائنات البحرية المستزرعة. والذي من شأنه تحسين قطاع الثروة السمكية وبالتالي زيادة الإنتاج القومي والمساهمة في تدعيم قطاع هام مثل الثروة السمكية. كما يقوم د. هيثم بتحكيم كثير من الأوراق العلمية لدى المجلات الدولية المفهرسة دوليا. يتعاون د. هيثم مع أقارنه على مستوى العالم لتقديم أوراق ونتائج علمية على مستوى عال.
