Today, Monday 14 September 2026, Prof Dr Mohammed Saber Al-Sabbagh, Dean of the Faculty, met with members of the academic staff in the faculty’s conference hall to discuss preparations for the new academic year, in the presence of the Faculty’s Vice-Deans and Heads of Academic Departments.

He opened the meeting by congratulating the academic staff on the new academic year, wishing everyone continued success and prosperity.

The meeting focused on several key points and guidelines:

 * Academic guidance: Emphasis was placed on the importance of activating the role of academic advisors to assist and guide students throughout their academic journey.

 * Assessment and coursework: Emphasis was placed on adherence to the approved frameworks and criteria for assessing coursework marks and self-directed learning.

 * Oral examinations and mid-term exams: The need to form three-member committees for oral examinations, with the dates of mid-term exams to be announced to students at the start of the academic year.

 * Question banks: Guidance on preparing comprehensive question banks for courses, characterized by high quality and covering all aspects of the curriculum.
