Please note that applications for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year are now open from 10 to 24 January 2026.

Attached are the Papers required to apply for a research master's degree and a doctorate.

Papers required to apply for a research master's degree

1. 1. Birth certificate (original + copy)
   2. Bachelor's degree certificate (original + copy)
   3. Statement of grades for the bachelor's degree/ (original +copy)
   4. Certificate of completion of courses for those who do not hold a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science or its equivalent.
   5. Position on conscription for males (for reference only + two copies)
   6.  Two copies of the National ID card
   7. (6) personal photos
   8.   Approval from the employer for applicants working in the government or public and private sectors, and confirmation that the student is not working for applicants who are not employed.
   9. Two plastic files
   10. Research plan in Arabic and English
   11. Registration form
   12. Declaration to submit TOEFL certificate within one year. Failure to submit the certificate within one year of registration will result in the student's registration being cancelled, and the supervisory committee will submit a request to cancel the registration for review by the relevant councils.
   13. Disclosure of the thesis topic (Master's/Doctorate) in the digital library.
   14.  Approval of the department council.
   15. Add a copy of the electronic registration form.

If the above documents are not completed, the students’ documents will be returned to the relevant department. 

Papers required to apply for a doctoral degree

1. 1. Birth certificate (original + copy)
   2. Bachelor's degree certificate (original + copy)
   3. Research master’s degree certificate (original + copy)
   4. Profile of research master's courses (original + copy)
   5. Copy of master's thesis
   6. Certificate of completion of coursework "for those who do not hold a master's degree in fisheries science or its equivalent, or who hold a master's degree in fisheries science in a specialisation other than the one in which they wish to enroll for a doctoral degree."
   7. Position on conscription for males (for reference only + two copies)
   8.  Two copies of the National ID card
   9. (6) personal photos
   10.  Approval from the employer of applicants working in the government or public and private business sectors.
