🎉 On a joyful day, the Faculty of Fish Resources welcomes its new students for the academic year 2025/2026 🎉

Under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Ashraf Hnijal, SU President, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamza Hassan, Acting Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Fish Resources organised a grand welcome ceremony for its new students.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Al-Azab Mohamed Tahoun, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Dr. Yahya Youssef Musleh, Director of the Quality Unit and former Dean of the Faculty, a group of directors of scientific departments, teaching staff members, associated staff, and administrators.

✨ Highlights from the ceremony ✨

The Faculty Student Union organised this special day, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ragab, Student Activities Coordinator, with the active participation of Union members and the Students for Egypt Community.

The ceremony included a variety of sections, such as:

 National inauguration: The ceremony began with the national anthem and salute, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran.

 Dean's word: Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamza Hassan welcomed the new students, emphasising the faculty's keenness to provide an excellent educational environment that will help hone their skills. He also praised the effective and distinguished role played by the Faculty Student Union in supporting student activities and assisting their colleagues.

 Honouring the top students: The top graduates and students in the various academic levels of the programmes (aquaculture technology, inland fisheries, and marine fisheries) were honoured, as were students who excelled in student activities and participated in the first fishing festival in Suez.

 Student creativity: The ceremony included wonderful artistic performances, including a theatrical sketch entitled "A New Beginning," songs, a stand-up comedy section, and an entertainment section that were well received by the audience.

An unforgettable day: Teaching Staff members participated with their students in some of the performances, and the day concluded in the faculty courtyard amid a joyful atmosphere that included games, entertainment activities, gift distribution, and souvenir photos.

The faculty administration extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to all those involved in this wonderful organisation and wishes all its new students a successful academic year and a bright future.
