At the Faculty of Fish Resources, Dialogue Meeting to Promote Political Participation

Under the auspices of His Excellency Minister Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, His Excellency Minister Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Hnijal, SU President, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in cooperation with Suez University, organized a "dialogue meeting to promote political participation" for Suez University students, with the participation of the Students for Egypt Community at Suez University, Faculty of Fish Resources. It was hosted by Prof. Dr. Osama Qaddour, Dean of the Faculty, and moderated by Prof. Dr.  Nibal Ezz El-Din Jamil, Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics at Suez University. Therefore, the meeting highlighted some basic political concepts such as political participation, freedom, democracy, authority, transparency, types of government, and the relationship between the legislative and executive branches. The meeting also reviewed the importance of political development for student awareness in light of regional and global challenges and changes in the region, as well as the efforts of the Egyptian political leadership and its interest in the opinions of the youth, women, and education. Moreover, the meeting touched on the importance of the great efforts made by Egyptian universities and the interest of Suez University in raising students' political, cultural, and social awareness of the importance of political development for students' awareness in building the nation and good citizens, as well as the ideals and values that we must instill in students so that the nation can catch up with advanced nations.
