In the same context, the students reviewed a model for using solar energy as an alternative to electrical energy in the management and operation of a fish farm attached to a residential building for workers.

The students then discussed methods of testing and diagnosing bacterial and viral diseases using modern methods, as well as methods of analyzing water samples taken from the areas under study to determine their physical and chemical properties, and methods of cultivating algae for fish feed or drying for use in other industries, as part of the field training course 1.

The students then presented the natural, technical, and social environment of a fish farm in Damietta Governorate, as well as a study of the Grand fish feed production plant.

Therefore, students presented the location and area of the farm, the types of aquatic organisms farmed, and methods of prevention and treatment in case of problems at the farm. They also reviewed feeding and production methods.
