Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Osama Qaddour, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, the second scientific discussion panel for the academic year 2024-2025 was held, moderated by Dr. Reham Hijazi, Coordinator of Scientific Discussion Panels at the Faculty.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saber Al-Sabbagh gave a presentation entitled
(Transferring New Developments in Agriculture),
which addressed the basics and requirements of technology transfer, the most important methods of disseminating new ideas, and how the process of persuasion takes place.
He pointed out that achieving agricultural development and meeting the basic food needs of rural populations requires a continuous and effective flow of agricultural technology to agricultural producers. To achieve technological change in agriculture, there must be an effective research apparatus capable of producing appropriate technology, testing it carefully, and ensuring its suitability for the prevailing conditions.
