Field Training for Students of the third year of the Aquaculture Technology Program

It was conducted under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Osama Qaddur, the dean of the faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saber Al Sabbagh, the faculty undersecretary for education and student affairs, and Prof. Dr. Al-Azab Tahoun, the coordinator of the Aquaculture Technology Program.

The training was within the framework of the faculty management's keenness to achieve the greatest educational effectiveness and acquire applied skills. On Saturday, 5 November 2022, practical training for field training course 1, which is studied by the third-year students of the faculty's aquaculture technology program, was followed up.

Moreover, the students were trained in how to cultivate and develop algae and how to make use of them in sustainable and widely possible aquaculture. Studies indicate that algae can be considered an important food alternative in human and terrestrial feeding along with aquatic animals such as fish and crustaceans.

The training was conducted at Aquaculture Department Laboratories.
