Program Mission:

he program is committed to applying advanced practical curricula to prepare teachers and trainers capable of understanding and absorbing modern technology, and educationally qualified to teach industrial technical subjects, and to implement industrial education programs efficiently to keep pace with the requirements of the local labor market, and to provide educational, research and community services that encourage creativity and innovation within the framework of the principles of quality and continuous development in the field of electrical power and machinery.

The program aims

The graduates of the electrical power & machines program should be able to:

  1. Prepare, build, and perform experiments, as well as analyze and interpret experimental results related to electrical machines.
  2. Demonstrate and conduct experiments as well as interpret data related to electrical power systems.
  3. Apply knowledge of mathematics, general science, and basic engineering concepts to demonstrate, train, and teach subjects related to electrical power systems and machines.
  4. Integrate electrical, electronic, and mechanical components and equipment with transducers, actuators, and controllers to perform basic electrical power and machine applications.
  5. Specify, troubleshoot, and maintain failures of basic components and equipment related to electrical machines.
  6. Understand modern techniques, skills, and tools related to electrical power and machine systems.
  7. Communicate effectively and work within multi-disciplinary teams.
  8. Design, manage, and plan the lesson, considering individual differences among learners and achieving learning outcomes, using both standard Arabic and English in educational situations.
  9. Use personal capabilities, technology media, and self-learning skills in his career growth to communicate and search for information.
