Project Purpose

• The graduation project of designing and manufacturing a Planetary Ball Mill for metals is a project that aims to design and manufacture a machine used for grinding metals efficiently and precisely to reach nano-size for the ground metals. The project implementation requires research for necessary materials and appropriate technology to operate and form these materials, and then manufacture the machine. The work includes designing mechanical and electrical parts, then assembling and testing them to ensure their effective performance.
• The project aims to manufacture a metal grinding machine using locally made materials and products with Egyptian hands, and compare the total cost of the project with similar imported products that serve the same purpose.
• Despite the technical and design challenges that may be faced in implementing this project, it represents an opportunity for students to apply the concepts, knowledge, and skills they have acquired during their studies in the field of production technology.
