Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigel, President of Suez University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa Atiya, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Arafat El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, in fruitful cooperation with the Directorate of Labor in Suez Governorate, headed by Mr. George Anis.
The activities of the "Second Training Forum 2026" were launched today, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Faculty of Science lecture hall. The event was remarkably organized through the diligent efforts of Prof. Dr. Omar Mohamed Omar Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, and Dr. Reham Reda Abbas, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, amidst a massive and honorable attendance of final-year students and graduates.
The forum aimed to bridge the gap between academic studies and actual labor market requirements. It provided an exceptional opportunity to enhance direct communication between students and experts from major international companies, including (JUSHI, Silicon Valley, and CSCEC).
The forum successfully achieved several strategic objectives, most notably:
Exploring available training and employment opportunities in the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Ain Sokhna.
Identifying the exact technical and practical skills required by major factories.
Qualifying graduates and refining their skills to compete strongly in both the local and global labor markets.
The administration of the Faculty of Technology and Education emphasizes that the mission of education does not end within the lecture halls but extends to empowering youth and preparing them for the workplace and production sectors. The Faculty extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to all entities and individuals who contributed to the success of this fruitful event, which serves the students of the University and the Governorate.
