In the Presence of the University President, Faculty of Technology and Education Celebrates Winning First Place in Government Excellence and Nomination for National Award 2026

 In a celebratory atmosphere filled with pride, and under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigel, President of Suez University.

The Faculty of Technology and Education organized a grand ceremony to celebrate winning First Place in the Government Excellence Award at the university level for three consecutive cycles, and its nomination to represent Suez University in the National Government Excellence Award for the year 2026.

His Excellency was received by Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa Atiya, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Badr, Head of the Faculty’s Government Excellence Team, along with the Faculty’s Vice Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, assisting staff, administrative personnel, and students.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by patriotic poetry readings. The Dean then delivered a welcome speech, congratulating the Faculty community on this well-deserved achievement. Prof. Atiya expressed his deep gratitude to the University President for his unlimited support, which has resulted in the quality accreditation of three faculty programs and the recent hosting of institutional and program accreditation teams, pledging to maintain this path of excellence.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigel praised the qualitative leap the Faculty is witnessing, highlighting its distinction in international publishing, with several scholars receiving State Encouragement Awards and being listed in the "Stanford" list of the top 2% most influential scientists worldwide. Prof. Hanigel urged the Faculty administration and staff to continue their achievements and not to settle for what has been accomplished, affirming full continued support for all Faculty sectors.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University President and the Dean honored the Government Excellence Team, presenting them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their diligent efforts, led by Prof. Dr. Gamal Badr, and including Ms. Manal Abdel Tawab (Ambassador of Excellence) and all team members.
