A Distinguished Visit for the Renewal of the International Accreditation of the Solar Energy Systems Testing and Consulting Laboratory

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ashraf Hneigl, President of Suez University,
Professor Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa Atiya, Dean of the Faculty,
Dr. Bassam Awni Hamid, Executive Director of the Center,
and Dr. Nader Mohamed Abdel-Mohsen, Deputy Executive Director,
welcomed the review team from the National Accreditation Council.
This took place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025,
during an important visit for the renewal of the international accreditation of the Solar Energy Systems Testing and Consulting Laboratory.

The laboratory had previously obtained international accreditation in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard,
becoming one of the specialized and leading centers at the national level.

The visit included:

• A presentation of the laboratory's advanced infrastructure

• An explanation of the scope of services and quality systems

• Detailed review sessions and hands-on observations

• Discussions on the application of international standards and their impact on the accuracy and reliability of results
