- Ashraf Khalil received the B.Sc. degree ( excellent with honor degree) from faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt in electrical power and machines engineering in 1989.
- Master degree in 1999 in the field of electrical power and machines from faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.
The Ph. D. degree from university of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK, in 2001, in the field of Application of Expert Systems to electrical power systems. He has been
