Faculty Regulation

The  bylaw  includes:

  • A brief account of the faculty history, vision, objectives, and strategies for conducting them.
  • Determining the general, cognitive, professional, and intellectual standards to be acquired by the graduate of the SU Faculty of Commerce
  • Identification of different semesters and study programs
  • Presentation of a conceptual framework for the accredited hours’ system and how it is applied, and the duration of classes divided into three semesters. Two main semesters and a summer course if any with scheduled credit hours and how to determine the quarterly and cumulative rate.
  • Determine the academic warning submitted to the student because of his lower cumulative rate than the minimum set in the regulation.
  • Determine the optional and compulsory courses for all departments and disciplines.

  • The bylaw includes:

  • Academic benchmarks for postgraduate programs such as diplomas, master's degrees, and doctorates.
  • General and special rules and conditions for enrolment in postgraduate programs with scheduling and duration of the study, study expenses, credit hours system, conditions for deregulation, suspension, and rules for dealing with irregularities.
  • Determine the optional and compulsory courses for all departments and disciplines.
