Continuation of university convoys for literacy and adult education

The University continued convoys, including a literacy convoy at Sedna Mohamed Mosque at Al-Banna Road under Al-Jineen Administration, in cooperation with SU Faculty of Commerce, Waqf and Health Directorates, the National Population Council, and the Nile Center in Suez.

Continuing to implement the instructions of the Minister General Staff of War Abdulmajid Saqr, Suez Governor, and the directives of the Secretary-General Mr. Khaled Sadawy, and according to the protocol signed by the General Authority for Adult Education under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ashour Omari and Suez University under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Al-Sharqawi, the SU students are assigned to participate in literacy and each student is assigned to eradicate the illiteracy of a certain number of citizens throughout the four years of study.

Today, under the auspices of Professor Dr. Sayed Al Sharkawi, SU President, headed and attended by M. Al-Sayeda Refai Hassan, Director General of the General Authority for Adult Education in Suez.

Organizing the convoy of literacy at Seydna Muhammad mosque at Al-Banna Road under Al-Jineen Administration, with the participation of 40 students; (33) from the Faculty of Commerce, (6) from the Faculty of Education, and (1) from the Faculty of Arts in the presence and supervision of Dr. Najwa Ibrahim, coordinator of literacy at the University's Adult Education Unit.

In the presence of M. Abeer Ali Amin, Director-General of the National Population Council, M. Majda Ashmawi, Director of the Suez Nile Centre, and Professor Saleh Al-Hofi, representative of Awqaf, coordinator of literacy, and Sheikh Abu Bakr. Mohammed Jadallah, inspector of Mosques in al-Jinaen administration as well as Mr. Zenhom Ali and Mr. Mohammed Ghraib from the mosque administration.

In the presence of the medical team M. Fatma Ali, nursing specialist, M. Marwa Mansour Mubarak, data entry, and Mr. Khaled Mohammed Hussein, responsible for comprehensive health insurance files.

In the presence of the branch of the Authority M. Rasha Jamal, Director of Janaien administration, M. Samah Atitu, M. Magda Munir, M. Faiza Fathi, M. Zaynab Ahmed Mahmoud, Mr. Ashraf Khairy.

Some of the convoy outputs:

1. Level measurement of (65) citizens.

2. Instruct (25) illiterate students for refresher classes.

3. Examine 18 people within the Women's Health Initiative and early screening for breast cancer.

4. Open several comprehensive health insurance files.

5. Educational Seminar for some women about birth control by the National Council of Population, M. Abeer Ali.
