Unit Tasks

- Updating the faculty's data on the electronic portal. 

- Publishing the study schedules of the various study programs in the faculty.

- Follow up the activity of spreading news to users at the facultylevel - departments - student union - research projects and various facultybodies

- Upgrading the level of the electronic portal of the faculty.

- Completion and support of the infrastructure of information systems and technology in the college.

- Develop an electronic work environment compatible with the management information systems at the University SIS.

- Provide the necessary support for the organization of teaching and training processes based on information systems and technology.

- Activate the role of the university's e-mail as a key tool for communication between faculty members and each other, between faculty members and students, and between faculty members and external parties.

- Collect and publish faculty news.

The accreditation standards issued by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education in Egypt represent the first reference for the unit's work, and the unit's board of directors takes the necessary measures to ensure the unit's work and practice all quality assurance activities through this reference.

Unit Objectives
 

1. Work to achieve the vision and mission of the college in light of quality standards.

2. Ensure that the conditions and requirements of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation are met and the college is qualified to obtain accreditation.

3. Disseminate the culture of evaluation, academic development and quality assurance among all college employees and students.

4. Adopt the philosophy of quality and academic accreditation to modernize and develop academic work.

5. Support those in charge of the educational process and administrative units, and evaluate and develop their performance.

6. Enhance the level of community participation of the college to provide distinguished services to gain the trust and satisfaction of beneficiaries.

7. Improve the quality of performance in the departments and academic programs offered by the college to raise the level of graduates and their competitive capabilities in the labor market.

8. Activate and follow up on training programs and workshops that aim to develop the capabilities of faculty members, assistant staff and the administrative apparatus to raise the level of performance.

The Graduate Follow-up Unit at the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering aspires to maintain constant communication and true partnership with the college graduates, identify the needs of students and graduates, meet these needs, and strive to develop their skills and abilities and prepare them well to qualify them to enter the labor market while they are able to prove their worth and distinction with their qualifications that are in line with the labor market, as well as create new job opportunities for college graduates.

The unit's mission is to enhance the graduates' belonging to the university by communicating with them, exchanging experiences and knowledge, in addition to inviting them to participate effectively in various university events. Also, raising their competencies, developing their capabilities, creating channels for continuous communication with college graduates, following up on their performance, and continuously working to improve this performance through programs, training courses, workshops, and various activities at the college internally and externally, while keeping pace with technological developments.
