On behalf of my name and the name of the under-secretaries of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, we welcome you to the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering -Suez University.

The student is the center and target of the educational process. Therefore, preparing him to face life and its challenges in the present and the future is the fundamental goal that our faculty seeks. That’s why the faculty makes full use of its human and material potential to prepare a graduate, burdened with theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and positive behaviors for the labor market. This graduate can use them to build himself and develop his community. So that he can self-learn in problem-solving and life-long learning so that he can be a successful engineer capable of advancing our beloved homeland.

The faculty, therefore, provides many high-quality laboratories, workshops, terraces, teaching halls, seminar halls, and conference halls to accommodate students' requirements and the educational and training process to keep pace with the labor market's practical and theoretical experience. The faculty administration is also updating regulations to improve its materials to achieve this goal.

All these human energies and material possibilities serve the educational and research process in high harmony, and stereotypes.

The faculty also has a postgraduate and research sector to serve post-bachelor students for master's degrees and Ph.D. for both Egyptian and international students.

There is also a community service and environmental development sector that organizes conferences, seminars, and training courses for students and the surrounding community and contributes to linking industry with academic study.

Finally, I wish all students and graduates of the faculty all success and more diligence and perseverance to succeed and continue research, innovate, and improve in the service of the nation for a bright future, inshallah.
