This morning, Prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi, SU vice-president, welcomed a delegation from the Petroleum Research Institute headed by Prof. Dr. Yasser Mustafa, the president of the Institute, to discuss the terms of the cooperation agreement to be concluded between the Institute and Suez University, represented by the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering. As well, it was attended by Prof. Dr. Abeer Shouib, the dean of the faculty, and undersecretaries. Hence, the attendees emphasized that such aspects of inter-institutional cooperation were ultimately in the interest of students and researchers to provide training opportunities and refine experiences, thus achieving the country's vision regarding the need for attention to scientific research. Following the meeting, the delegation toured the halls of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, where the faculty's various laboratories were able to identify available laboratory capabilities.
