A protocol of cooperation between the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering and Al-Nasr Petroleum Company.

This morning, prof. Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Sharkawi signed a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering and Al-Nasr Petroleum Company. In addition, he met engineer Mohamed Abdullah, chairman of the board of directors of Al-Nasr Petroleum Company in the presence of prof. Dr. Abeer Shoaib, the dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering.

 

“Al-Sharkawi” stated that the purpose of the Protocol is to establish a framework for scientific and research cooperation between the parties based on benefit and exchange of experience and privileges between the two parties. He also explained that the University's desire to sign such agreements stems from its desire to provide genuine training opportunities for students from different disciplines to be qualified for the requirements of the labor market.

For her part, the dean of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering explained that the cooperation with Al-Nasr Petroleum company included scientific fields and applications of mutual interest in all technical and skill competitions organized by the parties as well as education and training for students, staff, and associated staff at the company and participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops agreed between the parties in order to broaden the scientific research base and support joint cooperation.
