Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Abir M. Tolba is an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Suez University. She graduated from the Mass communication Faculty in 2018, got her pre-master in 2019, and her MA degree from Cairo University, Radio, and Television Department, with an A-plus degree.

She has been teaching for five years, two years and a half as a teaching assistant and the rest as an assistant lecturer. She has worked for four years at Sinai University and one year at Suez University, where she taught the following subjects " Animation, Video Editing  1&2, Photography, Specialized Program, Medi Photography, English Language1,2 & 3, Research Methods, Media Psychology, TV Shooting, and Promo). Regarding the Academic Workshops, she got three certificates from Nature Research Academies in 2023 for attending - Research Methodology, Grant Writing, and Writing a Research Paper Courses and a certificate from Researcher Academy for attending Tips &Advice for Preparing your Manuscript course in 2023. Besides, from Britannica Digital Learning for attending the course Fundamentals of and for Learning in 2023, and lastly from CABI for attending the course Practical Writing of Manuscript Introductions in 2023. In addition to the online certificates from LinkedIn Learning In all Adobe bundles, So She is a good video editor, animator, and Graphic Designer

She has a published paper titled "Understanding the binge-watching phenomenon on Netflix and its association with depression and loneliness in Egyptian adults" in Media Watch International Journal, besides acting as a reviewer in the same journal. She is pursuing her Ph.D. at Cairo University. She is interested in streaming services and the different social media platforms.
