The SU Faculty of Science looks forward to leading in basic science and its applications and scientific research to contribute to community service and excellence locally and regionally.

Create a high-quality scientific environment to prepare highly competent and skilled graduates to meet the needs of the community and provide innovative programs to keep abreast of developments in the labor market, support and stimulate scientific research to serve the sectors of society, and research competition locally and regionally.

1- Offering plans and study programs in various basic sciences in accordance with the standards of quality and compatible with the mission of the faculty and the university.

2- Obtaining a high level of confidence in the faculty graduate through the dissemination of a culture of creativity and an advanced educational methods approach.

3- A graduate capable of dealing with the requirements of scientific research and the establishment of advanced research bases and capable of pursuing the rapid and impressive development of various basic sciences that are commensurate with the needs of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Arab and African region.

4- Accurately identifying the real requirements of society and making it a starting point of successful and outstanding community service at the local and international levels and creating new specialties to meet the needs of community development.

5- Extending the bridges of cooperation in various research fields and openness to advanced research schools to create a researcher with a distinct application thinking capable of producing modern technology.

6- Adhering to continuous improvement of study programs to permanently upgrade the level of graduates who can always compete in the labor market.

7- Achieving educational goals and outputs that meet distinguished academic standards and conducting academic research, seminars, and workshops in the fields of basic sciences and their applications.

8- Seeking to meet the requirements of academic accreditation as one of the most important strategic objectives of the SU Faculty of Sciences. 

9- Undertake various studies and activities and propose solutions to problems related to the development of the environment and society.
