It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Science – Suez University, one of the leading faculties distinguished by its commitment to academic excellence, scientific research, and community service.

The faculty comprises six major academic departments: Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Botany, and Zoology. These departments form the cornerstone of scientific education and research, preparing highly qualified graduates capable of contributing effectively to knowledge advancement and sustainable development.

The Faculty also offers a range of non-traditional (credit-hour-based) programs, including Mathematics and Computer Science, Microbiology and Biochemistry, Petrochemicals, and Petroleum and Gas Geology. These programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of the labor market and to align with modern scientific and technological developments.

In addition, the Faculty offers comprehensive postgraduate programs leading to Diploma, Master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in various disciplines across the six departments. The Faculty also provides professional diploma and master’s programs in Occupational Safety and Health, aiming to prepare professionally qualified specialists capable of serving industrial sectors and the community.

The Faculty of Science is among the most active faculties in scientific research and international publication, with distinguished contributions from its academic staff and teaching assistants at both national and international levels. Our graduates hold prestigious positions in diverse institutions within Egypt and abroad, excelling as scientists, researchers, and professionals in their respective fields.

The Faculty is proud of its highly qualified, well-trained, and cooperative academic and administrative staff, who play a vital role in supporting teaching, research, and community engagement.
