An optical system consists of three-level V-type atomic system placed in an optical ring cavity in the presence of SV field is considered. The principle of bifurcation theory coupled with continuation technique is employed in order to study the bifurcation and the chaotic behavior of the present system. The effect of system parameters such as the cooperative parameter, the atomic and cavity detunings beside the squeezed field parameters, on the dynamics of the system is illustrated.
Keywords: Squeezed field, optical bistability, three-level atom, bifurcation, period doubling, and chaotic behavior.
