الوصف

The glass system xBaTiO 3 (BT)-10− xPbTiO 3 (PT)-60V 2 O 5-30B 2 O 3 with x= 2.5, 5, and 7.5 mol% was successfully fabricated by using melt quenching method. The glassy behavior was investigated by DSC and XRD, and the intermediate range order in these glasses was confirmed by Raman studies. The HRTEM study performed in this glass system confirmed the existence of polar clusters (PCs) embedded in the glass matrix. The dielectric measurements showed diffuse and frequency dependent phase transition behaviors for all the samples. The appearance of the relaxor/ferroelectric behavior in this glass system can be attributed to the existence of PCs embedded in the glass matrix. Also, the x= 2.5 sample showed energy storage density of about 0.44 J/cm 3 at ambient temperature, and at elevated temperatures the energy storage density reached 1.391 J/cm 3 for the composition x= 5. These features …
