Biography

Currently, I’ m an associate professor and head of the Family Medicine department, Faculty of Medicine, Suez University (FOMSU).

I received my undergraduate degree in Medicine & Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University. I had my postgraduate training in Family Medicine as a specialty from 1999 till 2017, then I was transferred to Faculty of Medicine - Suez University in October 2017. At FOMSCU, I tough undergraduate and postgraduate students, and directed research activities and I was devoted to study Family Medicine topics. I severed in many administrative positions and was assigned as technical director of four primary health care centers in Suez governorate affiliated to Family Medicine Department, Suez Canal University. I am an experienced skill lab and field training tutor, as I participated in medical education for several years in the field of Students Skill lab training and field training in Ismailia as well as other educational activities. Also, I was a member of the information management and examination committees, I supervised two doctorate and 15 Master theses (2 academic & 13 credit hours program of Family Medicine candidates), one doctorate thesis, and shared in discussion committee of 3 theses in Family Medicine.  I Worked also as an assessor for fellowship of Family Medicine

• At Suez University I was assigned as Field Training coordinator for four years, I shared as a member in many committees like quality committee, Curriculum Committee, and Postgraduate committee. I am also the coordinator of the faculty of Medicine for the Anti-Corruption Committee from 2018 up till now.
• I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Suez Physicians Syndicate, coordinator of the scientific committee, the Cultural and artistic committee in Suez syndicate & the president of Suez Family Physicians Association since 2020. 
• I shared as a qualified trainer in the training package for PHC doctors of the Suez Healthcare Authority, January 2024.
