Engineering is the profession in which knowledge of the basic sciences (mathematics - physics - chemistry, etc.) is applied along with the knowledge acquired through engineering study, experience and practice in order to develop and innovate methods, methods, machines and devices for the optimal use of materials, resources and forces of nature for the benefit of human society. Therefore, the college works through its scientific departments, which cover most of the specializations needed by the labor market, to achieve the following goals:
Exploiting all of the college’s capabilities to teach students the basics and techniques of engineering sciences and provide them with the necessary skills to carry out their future practical tasks using everything existing and new in their field of engineering specialization.
Preparing a graduate capable of applying engineering sciences and their methods in practical life.
Preparing a graduate capable of making decisions and dealing with crises.
Preparing a graduate who is familiar with modern technology and information technology and how to deal with them.
Preparing a graduate capable of competing in the labor market in light of the new and changing circumstances of the international community.
Preparing a graduate capable of learning and working with new technologies.
Support and provide graduate students with all the capabilities to understand and comprehend modern concepts, to develop and create modern methods, and to expand the basic knowledge base.
Creating a broad base of specialists, encouraging applied scientific research, and conducting innovative research in engineering disciplines.
Providing government agencies, factories, civil and investment society with everything new and advanced in engineering specializations to serve development plans in the country in general, the Gulf of Suez region, the Red Sea, Sinai, and the Suez Canal axis in particular.
Faculty of Engineering staff provide engineering consultations and expertise to companies and factories in the industrial zone in the northwestern Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea, Sinai, the Suez Canal axis in particular, and Egypt in general, to solve many of the applied problems they may encounter in the engineering fields.
Participate in training technical and engineering cadres in the state and community sectors to develop and advance their performance.
Interacting internally and externally with the latest developments in engineering studies, research and innovations through participating in international and local conferences and holding workshops, seminars and conferences at the college.
Exchanging experiences and benefits through concluding contracts and agreements with local and international scientific and practical bodies and institutions.
Contributing to the development and maintenance of the university, its colleges and facilities.
Contributing to advancing production using modern methods and technologies at the university level and its units, as well as at the state and regional levels.
