The graduate studies sector is responsible for the following tasks

• Preparing the plan for graduate studies and scientific research in the college based on the suggestions of the department councils and the relevant committees and in accordance with the Egyptian State’s Vision 2030.

• Contributing to the development of integrated systems for admission and registration affairs, and supervising their dissemination, application and follow-up by academic departments and programmes.

• Follow up on the implementation of this plan in the various departments of the college

• Reviewing and approving the formation of examination, discussion, and recommendation committees for granting academic degrees

• Reviewing the results of graduate students at the college 

• Reviewing the approval of stopping enrollment and registration, amendments to the dissertation supervision committees, and amendments to the dissertation title

• Supervising the provision of all various administrative facilities to researchers and facilitating their communications 

• Supervising the provision of all administrative facilities to international students, developing a plan to increase the number of international students in the college, and working to implement it.

• Supervising the implementation of research plans and providing their requirements within the general policy framework of the university.

• Supervising the provision of appropriate conditions for scientific research at the university and proposing systems of incentives and material and moral rewards

• Preparing statistical and informational data on faculty members who received awards

• Evaluating the research of faculty members and finalizing the procedures for disbursing the scientific publishing bonus according to the inventory of international scientific journals in which the university’s faculty members publish.

• Encouraging faculty members to conduct research projects

• Participate in preparing the scholarship and study leave plan in light of scholarship proposals and in light of the methods determined by the university’s scholarship and study leave system.

• Proposing the organization of scientific conferences and seminars at the college and undertaking external cultural relations affairs

• Supervising the preparation and implementation of cultural and international agreements with universities and scientific institutions.

• Working to develop cultural relations with the outside world.

• Supervising library affairs and proposing a plan to provide it with books, references, and periodicals

• Supervising scientific publishing affairs in the college and following up on the implementation of the policy drawn up in this regard
