Sponsored by Prof. Dr.  Al-Sharqawi, President of the University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Suez Engineering organized a visit to the Egyptian Space Agency for the students of the third year, Mechanics Division. The visit included the satellite assembly and testing center, and some laboratories. The attendees also witnessed a presentation on the nature of satellites and their types, and some graduation projects for former engineering college students.

On this occasion, the President of the University stated that the University’s keenness to activate such field visits to various sites reflects the importance of the practical application of various scientific vocabulary, which has a great impact on the quality of education that our students receive.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hanigal, Dean of the College, said that the great support provided by the University President to the College of Engineering reflects positively on the development of the spirit of work and perseverance in our students. The Dean of the College also indicated that constant keenness to provide learning opportunities in natural environments through such field visits is one of the most important means of strategies. Advanced education that is reflected in the form of distinguished educational outcomes.
