Vision of the Unit:

Continuous development of the SU Faculty of Dentistry to lead it for leadership and excellence in education, scientific research, and community service by applying local and international standards of quality assurance system.

Mission of the Unit:

Work towards achieving the quality assurance system in line with the vision and mission of the faculty by evaluating and continuously improving the quality of the educational process and practical research and striving to constantly upgrade them so that we can graduate dentists capable of gaining the trust of the local and international community.

Objectives of the unit:

1. Achieving the faculty mission and its strategic objectives.

2- Dissemination of quality culture within and outside the faculty.

3- Apply the criteria of The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation beside the follow-up and continuous assessment of the application of policies and mechanisms that support this.

4. Continuous communication with the SU Quality Assurance Center.

5- Collect data and document information and activities carried out within the faculty with documentation.

6- Support the faculty departments and administration to help them apply quality standards.

7-Earn the trust of the local and international community in the faculty results and outcomes.

The Unit seeks to achieve a distinct position among its counterparts at the local and regional level.

Mission of the Unit:

The unit promotes and upholds the principles of integrity and transparency by spreading awareness among the faculty community and creating the proper environment for prevention. It also works to develop mechanisms to implement the National Anti-Corruption Strategy as well as train and prepare cadres of students, faculty staff, associated staff, and employees to disseminate the procedures of values of integrity and transparency and ways of preventing corruption in order to enhance society's confidence in the faculty.

The Information Technology Unit seeks to spread the culture of electronic services provided to students, faculty staff, associated staff, and employees so that it contributes with all faculty sectors to a qualitative leap in various fields of work inside and outside the faculty to reach a distinct level.

The mission of the unit:

The Information Technology Unit promotes and operationalizes the culture of electronic services within the faculty for beneficiaries like students, faculty staff, and employees by providing interactive communication mechanisms. It is a preparation step towards the e-dealing in order to serve the hubs of educational, research, and service work.

E-Learning Unit.

Management Information Systems Unit.

Electronic Registration Unit.

The unit offers curricula and post academic schedules, exams schedules, and academic guidance for students to register courses on their electronic system.

The functions of the unit:

It acts as a link between the faculty's e-Services Unit project and the University's e-portal project.

Upload and update news and events on the portal monthly.

Upload the lecture schedules of various study programs.

This unit is under the supervision and direction of the Information Technology Unit.

The functions of the Unit:

Coordination of cooperation between the administration of the faculty's e-learning unit and the universities.

Training faculty staff, associated staff, and students on the use of electronic courses.

Preparing the data of students and staff for e-courses activated in the faculty.
