In line with the commitment of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Suez University to provide therapeutic services in the field of dentistry and to spread health awareness regarding oral and dental health among the residents of Suez and its surrounding villages, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Suez University, in cooperation with the Medical Administration in Suez, organized an awareness and medical convoy to the Gabaliyat unit in the Ganayin area.

This took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

The convoy included the participation of:

Prof. Dr. Amira Elham Fares – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development

Dr. Asmaa Fahmy – Lecturer of Oral Pathology and a member of the Medical and Awareness Convoys Committee

A number of Internship Dentists from the Faculty.

Key Outcomes

The internship dentists examined 120 patients of various ages.Cases requiring necessary medical procedures were referred to the Faculty of Dentistry at Suez University.Cases have already been received at the Faculty and the necessary treatment has been performed for them.The visit witnessed great interaction from the residents of the Ganayin area, as well as school children.Toothpaste was distributed to promote awareness about the importance of maintaining and caring for oral and dental health.This visit comes as part of the activities of the Faculty of Dentistry at Suez University to serve the local community and spread health culture among community members, especially in remote areas
