Today, Sunday, 26/12/2021, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Abdel-Azim El-Sahrkawy, President of Suez University.

With a campaign to donate blood for the teaching staff members, the assistant staff, employees, and students at the university, in the medical complex. At the beginning of the day, Prof. Dr.  Hany Shalaby, Dean of the Dental Faculty, welcomed Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Atta, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Alaa Younes the Head of the Faculty of Fisheries and the Coordinator of the family of students for Egypt at the university, and the members of regional blood transfusion center including doctors and nurses, in the presence of Dr. Heba Saeed, Co-Director of the Blood Bank Center in Suez, and Dr. Rana Ismat.

Today witnessed a special demand from everyone for blood donation... The campaign began with a donation from Prof. Dr. Hani Shalaby, Dean, and Ass. Prof. Abdullah Hammouda / Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs who considered to be a role model and encouraged all the faculty family and employees to donate blood as it has a huge public health benefit and can save someone else's life. The campaign was part of the community and health services that the university could offer, represented by the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and the Regional Centre Blood Transfusion in Suez, in coordination between Dr. Randah Hamed El-Sherbini, coordinator of the Higher Committee for Student Activities and the Student Union of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Suez, and Dr. Wael El-Sharkawy, director of the regional center for the blood bank in Suez.
