Suez Dental Workshop on the Margins of the African Health Conference

The SU Faculty of Dentistry held a workshop on the margins of the African Health Conference from 5 to 7 June 2022 under the auspices of President Abdelfattah El-Sisi.

Prof. Dr. Al-Sharqawi, SU President, attended the opening events of the workshop where he was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Hani Shalabi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and the faculty under-secretary and Faculty Staff. The workshop tackled modern digital uses and the uses of digital photography in the field of cosmetic fillings on dental surfaces in line with one of the main themes of the conference which includes digital transformation and artificial intelligence in the fields of dentistry.

The workshop was held within the framework of the role of the SU Faculty of Dentistry in serving the community and promoting the research process and continuous education and dentists training.

In his speech, SU President stated that Suez University is witnessing unprecedented progress in the current period, particularly in the field of the spread of medical disciplines to educate our students and provide a distinguished health service to the students at the university region by competent specialists from the University staff in the context of the Egyptian State's concern for the health of citizens.

Then, a lecture entitled " indirect adhesive ceramic restorations (from clinic to lab)” was held and followed by workshop events, training in dental preparation, creating temporary wearing dentures, digital measurement through intraoral scanners, and dental design.
